Unlike kennel boarding which is charged nightly, our in-home services are conveniently charged by the number of days. Daily sitting fees include $20 for one visit (cats only), $40 for two visits for one pet, and $60 for three visits for one pet. Additional fees apply for extra pets ($5 per pet, per visit), geriatric pets needing special assistance ($20), dog walking ($20 per walk), and medication administration ($1.50 per dose), ensuring all specific needs are met with precision and care.
Essential Boarding Information and Policies
To ensure a smooth and safe experience for all pets and their owners, Patriot Pet Care has established clear boarding policies regarding reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and mandatory vaccinations. These guidelines are in place to maintain a healthy and secure environment for every animal entrusted to our care, reflecting our commitment to their safety and your peace of mind. We encourage all clients to familiarize themselves with these policies to facilitate a seamless and stress-free stay for their beloved companions. Understanding these details will help you prepare effectively for your pet’s visit to our facility.
Boarding reservations can be made up to six months in advance, allowing ample time for planning your pet’s stay. All reservations require a valid VISA or MasterCard to secure the booking. We kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, as well as “no shows,” will incur a $50 fee. A $50 deposit is also required for all federal holiday reservations, reflecting the high demand during these periods. Our standard check-in time is after 12 p.m., with an early check-in before this time incurring a daycare fee. Check-out is required before 12 p.m.; for grooming clients, Patriot Pet Care will notify you when your pet is ready for pickup. A daycare fee will apply for late check-outs, ensuring our scheduling remains efficient and fair for all.
For the health and safety of all animals in our care, mandatory vaccination records must be submitted prior to drop-off. Dogs are required to have current Bordetella, rabies, and distemper vaccinations; any dog testing positive for these conditions will unfortunately not be able to use our services. Cats must be vaccinated against rabies and distemper. No exceptions will be made, and pets will not be admitted without all required vaccinations. Additionally, all pets must be completely free of fleas, ticks, and other parasites. These strict requirements are crucial for preventing the spread of illness and maintaining a healthy environment for every pet staying at our facility, upholding the highest standards of animal welfare.
Our boarding facility features well-designed indoor/outdoor runs, providing a balanced environment for our canine guests. The indoor section of each run is climate-controlled with a 24-hour heating and cooling system, ensuring comfort regardless of the weather outside. The outdoor section is covered, offering essential shade in the summer and protection from other elements throughout the year. All runs are constructed with small chain link fencing, specifically chosen to minimize the potential for injury, keeping your pet safe and secure. We strongly recommend owners bring their own pets’ food to prevent stomach upset from a change in diet. However, for those who do not, we provide food tailored for sensitive systems, specifically Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach for Dogs and Purina ONE Sensitive systems for Cats, available for an additional fee. Should your pet require extra meal preparation, such as heating, grinding, or cooking, an additional charge will apply. All food and medication brought in must be in a sealed, plastic container for hygiene and safety.
