2026 Horsemanship Clinics: Your Guide to Training and Development

Are you an aspiring equestrian or an experienced rider looking to enhance your horsemanship skills? The year 2026 promises a comprehensive schedule of clinics designed to elevate your understanding and practice of horsemanship, catering to various levels and interests. From regular format clinics to intensive sessions and specialized youth programs, there are opportunities across the United States to learn from seasoned professionals. This guide provides an overview of the upcoming events, helping you plan your training year.

February 2026: Arizona Kick-off

The year begins with horsemanship clinics at Rancho San Pedro in Palominas, Arizona. From February 21-25, a Regular Format Horsemanship Clinic will be held, focusing on fundamental skills. For inquiries and information, riders and auditors can contact Holly Richter at hollyerichter@gmail.com. While rider spots for this session are currently full, interested individuals are encouraged to inquire about auditing the clinic.

Following immediately, from February 28 to March 4, Rancho San Pedro will host another Regular Format Horsemanship Clinic. This session still has rider spots available, and auditors are also welcome. April 2026: Kansas Ranch Training

In April, the focus shifts to Washington, Kansas, at Moyer Ranch. Two consecutive 5-Day Regular Format Horsemanship Clinics are scheduled: April 13-17 and April 20-24. Both clinics will feature a host dinner the evening prior to the start date (April 12th and April 19th, respectively). Rider spots are available for both sessions, and auditors are welcome. May 2026: Tennessee Focus on Intensive and Youth Development

May is a busy month with multiple clinics hosted at Mendin’Fences Farm in Rogersville, Tennessee. The month kicks off with a 6-day INTENSIVE Horsemanship Clinic from May 6-11, including a host dinner on May 5th. Rider spots are available, and auditors are welcome. A unique NEW Youth FORMAT for TN is scheduled from May 14-18. This East Coast Legacy Clinic is a 5-Day Horsemanship Clinic where experienced young adults, developed by Harry, will work clinic horses under his direction and supervision. June 2026: Continued Training in Tennessee and Iowa

June continues the training opportunities in Rogersville, Tennessee, with two clinics at Mendin’Fences Farm. A 6-day INTENSIVE Horsemanship Clinic runs from June 3-8, with a host dinner on June 2nd. Subsequently, a 5-Day Regular Horsemanship Clinic is scheduled from June 11-15, preceded by a host dinner on June 10th. Transitioning to Iowa, Prairie Rose Arena in Elkhart will host a 3-Day Horsemanship and Cattle Clinic from June 26-28. This clinic features a 9-rider limit and will likely include morning horsemanship sessions followed by afternoon flag and cattle work. Thunder’s Farm in Bondurant, IA, will hold a Regular Format Horsemanship Clinic from July 1-4. This clinic is also currently full, but interested parties can contact Sara Etter at thundersfarmllc@gmail.com for waitlist information. Auditors are welcome.

August 2026: Bible Horsemanship in Virginia

August features a unique BIBLE Horsemanship Clinic at Derrick Hicks Farm in Floyd, VA. These 5-Day Regular Format clinics, co-led by Harry and Cowboy Chaplain Ronnie Moyer, are scheduled for August 12-16 and August 19-23. Both sessions include a host dinner the night before. Rider spots for these clinics are currently FULL. Interested individuals should contact Tom Moates at Tommoates@gmail.com to be added to a waiting list. Auditors are welcome for both dates.

September & October 2026: California Clinics

The West Coast gets its turn with a series of clinics in Colfax, CA. In September, a Youth Format Horsemanship Clinic runs from September 5-9; rider slots are full for this session, but day auditors are welcome. There is no overnight camping available for this specific week. For auditor information, contact Laura Dickerson at 831-246-1024 or imdlaura@aol.com.

Following this, three Regular Format Horsemanship Clinics are scheduled: September 12-16 (5-Day), September 20-23 (4-Day), and September 27-30 (4-Day). Rider spots are full for the September 12-16 and September 20-23 clinics, but available for the September 27-30 clinic. Auditors are welcome for all September sessions. October continues with clinics in Colfax, CA. A 4-Day Regular Format Clinic is scheduled for October 4-7, with rider spots available and auditors welcome. From October 10-14 and October 17-21, 5-Day Regular Format BIBLE Horsemanship Clinics will be held, featuring Harry and Cowboy Chaplain Ronnie Moyer. December 2026: Arkansas Conclusion
