We aim to provide a seamless shopping experience for our valued customers, whether you’re ordering within the UK or internationally. This policy outlines everything you need to know about delivery times, costs, product availability, and our return process.
UK Shipping
For orders within the UK, we offer free standard shipping on all orders over £60. For orders under £60, a flat shipping fee of £3.95 applies, excluding fluids. Additional premium delivery services are available and can be selected during the checkout process. Please note that our last recommended day for standard UK delivery before Christmas is typically midday on Friday, December 19th, and for express shipping, it’s midday on Monday, December 22nd.
International Shipping
International shipping rates are determined by the weight of the parcel and the destination country. These rates will be clearly displayed for you to review during the checkout process. We recommend checking with your local customs officials or post office for information regarding potential import duties and taxes that may apply to your order. You will be responsible for any such charges.
Order Dispatch and Product Availability
We strive to dispatch all orders placed before 9:00 AM on the same working day. Please be aware that we are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Orders placed after 9:00 AM or on these closure days may be dispatched on the next working day. Product availability is clearly indicated on each product page. If a product is listed as ‘Coming Soon – Dispatched in X Days,’ this represents the estimated lead time before the item arrives at our store. The chosen delivery method affects transit time only after the product has reached us.
Christmas & New Year Opening Times
During the festive period, please note our adjusted opening hours and recommended order cut-off dates to ensure timely delivery. Our store will be closed on December 24th, 25th, and 26th, as well as January 1st. While orders will be processed on certain days, they may not enter courier networks until after the Christmas or New Year period. Normal opening hours and order processing will resume on January 2nd.
Custom Charges
For international orders, please be aware that your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. Maidstone Harley-Davidson has no control over these additional customs clearance charges. We advise you to consult your local customs office for more information. You will be considered the importer of record for your order. Refunds for returned orders will cover the cost of the items only, not any services incurred.
Delivery Services
For smaller items within the UK, we utilize Royal Mail, while larger items are shipped via DHL. If your order has not arrived within 5 working days, please contact us via email at shop@mshd.co.uk. We also offer expedited timed delivery services for an additional charge, with all available options detailed at checkout.
Collect in Store
Collecting your order from our store is a free option. Most orders are ready for collection on the same day, though occasional delays may occur. You will receive a notification when your order is ready. Our collection hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Please remember that the store is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, and orders placed on these days will be available for collection on the next working day.
Returns & Refunds
You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 working days from the date you received the goods. To initiate a cancellation or return, please email us at shop@mshd.co.uk within this period. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs and ensuring the items are returned in their original, new condition. If you receive a faulty or broken item, you will be offered a refund or replacement. In such cases, Maidstone Harley-Davidson will cover the cost of return postage.
