My husband Jeremy and I, along with our two furry children, have recently relocated to Lakeway, a charming city near Austin, Texas, from Southern California. Previously, I ran a successful dog boarding and care business there for five years. Leaving behind the beloved pets who had captured my heart was the most challenging aspect of our move. It involved a lot of tears and heartfelt goodbyes. However, I was determined to build a new “fur family” in our new home! Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
I have two Golden Retrievers, Emmitt and Whitley, who are the absolute joys of my life. (And I’m married to a pretty wonderful man too, LOL!) Whitley has been a constant companion through many life stages, and I’m incredibly grateful that she will get to spend her golden years in the great state of Texas. The natural beauty that Austin and its surrounding areas offer is beyond anything I could have imagined. You’ll most often find me outdoors, seeking new adventures, as there are so many hidden gems to discover here! Amidst the daily hustle and bustle, it brings me immense pleasure to be able to include your beloved dogs in my explorations. Do you live near walking trails? I’ll happily take them for runs!
