Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Chad Piper and Katie Bossart!

The ceremony and subsequent celebration unfolded beneath a beautifully adorned white tent, creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere for guests. Notable attendees included Chad’s parents, Duane and Heidi Piper, and Katie’s parents, Lenny and Charlotte Bossart, all present to share in the couple’s special day.

“She was such a beautiful bride and it was such a beautiful night,” shared Kristen Bossart Scheetz, Katie’s sister. “Ever since Katie was little she has always loved horses. It is so neat to see her life come full circle like this; falling in love and getting married to Chad and having her love of horses intertwine with the love of her life. I am so happy for her and Chad! They are a beautiful couple, inside and out.” This sentiment highlights the deep connection Katie has with horses and how it beautifully complements her love for Chad.

The reception was a vibrant affair, with guests praising the exquisite food, which featured delicious pork and chicken options. Ashton Krutulis described the decorations as “outstanding” and the dance floor as “on fire,” underscoring the lively and joyful mood of the celebration.

“Chad’s father, Dwayne, was his best man. I think my favorite part was Chad’s vows to Katie where he choked up a bit and that was beautiful. He really expressed his love for her. I love them and I’m just so happy for them,” Ashton further commented, emphasizing the heartfelt emotions shared during the ceremony.

Darla Lee recounted that the ceremony was exceptionally touching. She noted that a light rain, often considered a sign of good luck, graced the event. Adding a unique touch, their dog, CJ Piper, accompanied Katie down the aisle. A playful tradition at the wedding involved guests singing to the couple to earn a kiss, a delightful interactive element that brought smiles and laughter. Darla also shared a humorous anecdote about the Ohio State football game being postponed due to weather, with guests jokingly attributing the delay to the wedding, highlighting the event’s significance.
